When Gia Montgomery’s boyfriend, Bradley, dumps her in the parking lot of her high school prom, she has to think fast. After all, she’d been telling her friends about him for months now. This was supposed to be the night she proved he existed. So when she sees a cute guy waiting to pick up his sister, she enlists his help. The task is simple: be her fill-in boyfriend—two hours, zero commitment, a few white lies. After that, she can win back the real Bradley.
The problem is that days after prom, it’s not the real Bradley she’s thinking about, but the stand-in. The one whose name she doesn’t even know. But tracking him down doesn’t mean they’re done faking a relationship. Gia owes him a favor and his sister intends to see that he collects: his ex-girlfriend’s graduation party—three hours, zero commitment, a few white lies.
Just when Gia begins to wonder if she could turn her fake boyfriend into a real one, Bradley comes waltzing back into her life, exposing her lie, and threatening to destroy her friendships and her new-found relationship.
MY THOUGHTS
GUYS!!!! Trust me when I say that you NEED this book in your life <3
I Know this book was released last year, but it´s never late to read an amazing story just like this one! I knew about this book since last year.
I wanted to read it SO BADLY that one of my best friends let me borrow her book; Unfortunately I didn´t have time to finish it because of school, but anyways, here I am, ready to tell you all how good this book is.
The first book I read by Kasie West was The Distance Between Us, which I absolutely loved and it totally made me want to read her other books; So when I read the synopsis of The Fill – In Boyfriend, I could´t help to add it to my TBR. (which by the way, keeps growing and growing)
I really enjoyed the book because it was so romantic! You all know I really like love stories and I´m a huge fan of this one. I laughed so much and also cried, I know, I´m so sentimental ;D
My Favorite Characters:
First, I will talk about Gia: She´s the main character of the story, she`s popular and funny and I really laughed a lot in certain situations in which she was involved. There were times in which I actually had the urge to tell her to forget about what everyone though and said about her, and I was happy when she finally did.
The Guy: Why did I wrote “The Guy” instead of his name? Because YOU have to read the book to know his name <3 Gia had to play games in order to know his name and it was amazing.
Bec: She´s super amazing, careless and original. She´s the kind of character that surprises you every time.
This story is about trusting in yourself, to not let other people make you do things in order to see if you are lying or not and also about finding true love and friendship in those who you least expect.
In other words it´s amazing, funny and romantic, I hope you guys read the book! If you already read it let me know so we can fangirl together.
