Hi everyone!! thank-you so much for stopping by today.
Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine which spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
My WoW for this week is…
Title: Spindle Fire
Author: Lexa Hillyer
Release Date: April 11th 2017
Publisher: HarperCollins
Genre: YA, Fantasy
Perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas and Leigh Bardugo, Spindle Fire is an enthralling, wholly original re-imagining of a classic faerie story.
Half-sisters Isabelle and Aurora are polar opposites: Isabelle is the king’s headstrong illegitimate daughter, whose sight was tithed by faeries; Aurora, beautiful and sheltered, was tithed her sense of touch and voice on the same day. Despite their differences, the sisters have always been extremely close.
And then everything changes, with a single drop of Aurora’s blood, a Faerie Queen who is preparing for war, a strange and enchanting dream realm—and a sleep so deep it cannot be broken.
Spindle Fire is a tour de force fantasy set in the dwindling, deliciously corrupt world of the fae, and featuring two truly unforgettable heroines.
WHY I’M WAITING
Ok WE ALL NEED TO READ THIS BOOK.
I am fan of Sarah J Mass and the absolutely amazing Leigh Bardugo, I love Fantasy and of course that after seeing that beautiful cover I added this book to my TBR.
This book sounds absolutely amazing, I love retellings, and after reading this synopsis I could´t help to be drawn to this story, and I mean:
A KINGDOM BURNS. A PRINCESS SLEEPS. THIS IS NO FAIRY TALE.
I´m so going to read this book.

Thank you!!! <3
I’m interested in this just based on the twist of faeries and having certain senses taken away (if my understanding of tithed is right) from them. Great choice! I hope it’s as good as it sounds.
