Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted by the lovely The Broke and the Bookish
Where you can answer fun bookish questions!
Hello, everyone!!!
I hope I don’t have to fight anyone on this one! Because I’m ready, I’m ready I tell ya. lol jk
I know not everyone will agree with me AND that’s OK!!! I promise. Harry Potter movies are my favorite! I watched the movies first and read after. I know! Crazy right? I’m glad I did tho. Because I love the books now too and of course the movies as well. I watched the whole series during September thru December, every year! It’s just something about that time that I NEED to watch it.
Man oh man! This movie is so funny. I swear! It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but definitely worth watching at least once.
Need I say more? I remember reading this book when I was a little and definitely crying my eyes out with that ending. lol
The movie is adorable, it portrayed the book well. I still watch is whenever it’s on .
I loved, loved, loved this book and the movie? Even better!!! I have to say that this movie is definitely one of my favorites of all time! I may like it a bit more than the movie ha-ha.
The most beautiful romance story there is! Pride & Prejudice is AMAZING!!! The best classic of all time in my eyes.
The Green Mile is heart wrenching, beautiful and such a tearjerker for me…..
I cry all the time! No matter how many times I see it. It ends with me in tears. This is one of those stories that I really wish I could jump into the story and save John Coffey. Stephen King’s best work.
We’re off to see the wizard, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
We hear he is a whiz of a wiz, if ever a wiz there was
If ever, oh ever a wiz there was, The Wizard of Oz is one because
Because, because, because, because, because
Because of the wonderful things he does
We’re off to see the wizard,
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
The Wizar of Oz is my all time favorite movie.
Heartwrenching movie! I actually saw the movie first and was so moved by it that I had to read the book. I didn’t know it was a classic. It’s definitely something to pick up. I have a soft spot for anything Native American. It’s one of those subjects that draws me in every time.
Need I say more?
Ah Yessssss! I love Matilda! I’m saddened that the Broadway play run will be coming to an end this year. I guess will always have the book and movie.
Hope you enjoyed my rants about my favorite movies.
What’s your favorite book to movie? Let me know and I’ll make sure to reply. xoxo

The Wizard of Oz may not be the most faithful to the book, but it is the best movie ever!
It’s not. I just hope people get interested and read the book as well because it fantastic!!!!
Hi Helena!
I really enjoyed this post! And I completely agree with you about Harry Potter – I love the movies! Many HP fans are against it because there were so much left out of the film adaptations, but there’s just something magical about the movies. There were a few characters that I loved more in the movie than what I did in the book (gasp, shock, horror).
A few of my favourite book to movie adaptations (apart from HP) are: The Fault in Our Stars, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Divergent. I also really enjoyed the Gone Girl film 🙂
Love your blog!!

I did a similar list. We have some in common but you added some I totally missed like Bridget Jones’ Diary and Matilda. Great list!

I love the Harry Potter movies! They might not be *perfect* adaptations, but I don’t know how someone could not love them, they’re just so wonderfully classic. 🙂 I saw the first three movies (they were the only ones out at the time) before I started reading them, and I absolutely fell in love with both! Also a huge fan of The Fellowship of the Ring adaptation. I didn’t realize how many of these movies I haven’t seen – looks like I may need to do some movie watching.

I kinda of surprised myself! I’ve actually seen all those movies, except maybe The Green Mile, but even that I think I might have seen parts, haha. I do love HP and all the versions of P&P!
